Monday, July  20th at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time – Going Beyond the E-course                                                                                                 Presenter: Kara Jacobs

Are you thinking that you might be back teaching online in the fall or the winter? Are you using and/or considering using an E-course? The E-courses are excellent; they are asynchronous and not driven by the teacher. In this session, I will share asynchronous and synchronous activities that will help deepen comprehension and engage learners.

Tuesday, July 21st at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time – Connecting with Students of Color                                                                                          Presenter: John Bracey

Attendees will learn how to become the teacher that students of color trust, and how to make their classroom a place where students of color want to be. All will leave with practical tips and materials that can be immediately applied to all types of classes.

Wednesday, July 22nd at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time – Introducing Afro-Latino Culture in Your Classroom            Presenter:  Jenniffer Whyte

As Spanish teachers, sometimes we tend to forget to include Afro-Latino culture all year round. Instead of teaching a unit about Afro-Latinos in February, this session will help you discover how to tweak your days, weeks, and months into a curriculum that incorporates Afro-Latinos as if they were not just a highlight, but they are part of the whole Latin American culture. Let’s make a decision to include this as an important part of teaching the Spanish language, the same way we integrate other topics and subjects.

Thursday, July 23rd at 6:00 p.m. Eastern time – Let’s Demystify Differentiation & Ensure Success for All            Presenters:  Bertha Delgadillo and Angela Williams

What can educators do to ensure maximum success for ALL students regardless of literacy level and linguistic ability? This session will examine practical strategies to differentiate for greater language acquisition resulting in higher student investment. Examine and apply strategies to differentiate CI activities for students and empower them to move up to the next level of proficiency!

All webinars will be recorded and available on our Fluency Matters training site for you to view at a later date if you cannot attend any of the live sessions.
