Our Coaches

Coaching is:

  •      A way to process the techniques that you are learning
  •      An opportunity to polish your new-found skills in a non-threatening environment
  •      A chance to observe other teachers in order to inform your own practice
  •      The space where one can become seasoned in teaching with acquisition
  •      An occasion to feel stretched and encouraged

Coaching is NOT:

  •      Someone yelling at you for doing it “wrong”
  •      A place of judgment
  •      A waste of time

In other words,

Coaching is what moves teachers from theory to practice.  It is the glue that makes “teaching for acquisition” stick.  Being coached is DOING. Work in small groups with highly trained and experienced coaches on whatever skills you wish to practice.  These coaching sessions are crafted to be low-stress and highly effective. Or come in to ask about any topic that you need clarified.
